When contacting Global Payments for technical or account support, please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Terminal ID or Merchant Number.
  • Name and Version of the Global Payments software.
  • Version of Microsoft Windows, including service packs.
  • Version of the Cisco Systems VPN Client software
  • Brand and Model of the PC.
  • Type, Brand and Model of the modem.
  • The exact error message(s) received, if any.
  • Description of the problematic behavior, if any.
    • Users of Version 3.3c & 3.3e and higher can view most of the system information in the program by selecting Obtaining Support from the Help menu.

    Retail @dvantage PC Versions 4.0c and 4.0e:
    Global Payments Inc. is in the process of certifying versions 4.0c and 4.0e. These new versions will support Microsoft Windows VISTA and also include new features such as a SSL connectivity option, Native support for USB card readers, and maintain compliance with new Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. (PCI/DSS,PABP/CISP).
